Salma Hayek exuded elegance at the 12th Breakthrough Prize Ceremony in Santa Monica on April 18. The actress, who attended the glamorous award ceremony with her husband François Henri-Penault, opted for an old Hollywood-esque swooping updo paired with a glitzy Gucci little black dress.

Styled by Jason Bolden, Hayek’s gown featured a ruffled plunging V-neckline and was made with a semi-sheer material covered in haphazard sequins. The long skirt pooled behind her in a train. As for her hair, stylist Andy Lecompte swept up her long dark hair in an elegant twisted updo complete with a swooping side-parted front section. The updo showed off a pair of dramatic silver and crystal drop earrings. She also wore a giant ring on her middle finger by David Webb.

Once again, Hayek embraced her natural gray streaks—a few months ago, for instance, the actress wore her long graying hair in a Gen Z-approved center part, while last July, she opted for a millennial side part.
Regardless of her hairstyle, Hayek makes a point of proudly embracing her gray hair. “I look better with healthy hair that’s white,” she told Allure last April, adding that her hair “doesn’t like to be dyed.”

Hayek posed on the red carpet with her husband who wore a classic black tuxedo.
The pair married in 2009. They share daughter Valentina who was born in 2007, while Pinault has three other children from previous relationships.
“I always wanted to have a lot of children, and I was not able to. My body, as a miracle, had one,” Hayek told Red in 2017. “The huge blessing I’ve had is that my husband has three other children. So, I have four. And they are all so different.”
