After missing out on Lovely Runner for over two years, a select number of countries are set for the K-dramas release on Netflix at the end of May 2026! So far, we’ve identified at least ten countries that will receive the beloved K-drama, including the UK, Australia, and South Korea. Unfortunately, the US misses out.
Lovely Runner is a South Korean romantic comedy series starring Kim Hye Yoon and Byeon Woo Seok as the romantic leads. The series was directed by Yoon Jong Ho and Kim Tae Yub, and written by Lee Shi Eun. It was broadcast on the South Korean network tvN between April 8, 2024, and May 28, 2024. The series is highly rated by fans online, with a huge 9.0 rating from over 100,000 users on the asian drama site MyDramaList.
Ryu Seon Jae, one of South Korea’s fastest rising celebrities, tragically commits suicide after life as a celebrity has left him burnt out and suffering from depression. His death breaks the heart of Im Sol, who has admired him from afar since childhood and has been one of his unwavering fans. While reeling from the news of his demise, Im Sol is mysteriously transported 15 years into the past, where she has the opportunity to subvert fate and save Ryu Seon Jae from his future tragedy.
Which regions will Lovely Runner be released on Netflix?
So far, we have been able to identify that Lovely Runner will be released on Netflix on Sunday, May 31, 2026, in several European countries, including:
- Denmark
- France
- Germany
- Italy
- Poland
- Sweden
- Spain
- United Kingdom
We’ve also been able to identify two more regions where Lovely Runner will be released on June 1, 2026:
- Australia
- South Korea
This will mark the first occasion that Lovely Runner is added to the Netflix library in South Korea, as it was previously exclusive to TVING.
Lovely Runner is also already available to stream on Netflix in the following regions:
- India
- Malaysia
- Philippines
- Singapore
- Thailand
What about the USA?
Sadly, the K-drama is not listed to be coming to Netflix US. However, audiences in the US can stream the series with subscriptions to either Amazon Prime, Apple TV, or Rakuten Viki.
