Giants, GM Joe Schoen agree to multiyear extension

The New York Giants and general manager Joe Schoen have agreed to terms on a multiyear extension, the team announced Thursday.

The Giants had retained Schoen when they fired coach Brian Daboll, and this ends any speculation that Schoen’s working relationship with new coach John Harbaugh would be temporary.

Schoen has been the Giants’ general manager since 2022. New York is 22-45-1 during that time span with one playoff appearance in 2022, his and Daboll’s first season with the franchise.
